Remove outer leaves and bottom stalk. Slice, then boil for 20 - 25 minutes, then drain water. Fry off strips of bacon in oil & butter until cooked halfway, then add preboiled shredded pamphrey until both are golden brown. Serve with Potatoes. For Bubble & Squeak fry off pre-cooked cubed potatoes with the bacon & pamphrey.
